The Thomson High School boys and girls tennis teams are off to good starts in region play this year.
The boys team is 3-2 overall on the season and 2-1 in region play.
The girls team is off to a 2-3 start overall on the year and they are 2-1 in region play.
The boys and girls tennis teams suffered their first region loss of the year on Tuesday, March 9, falling to Davidson.
Head Coach James Jennings said they are in the middle of region play but both teams have been playing well.
He added that they have upcoming matches over the next few weeks as they head towards spring break with the region tournament after spring break.
