Survivors include his daughters, Amanda Lee Black of Thomson,GA, Katherine Jennifer Taylor of Augusta, GA; brother, David Black (Denise) of Atlanta, GA; sister, Temple Walling (Mark) of Sparta, GA; and grandchild, JJ Brown.

Thomson- Mr. Roger “Buck” Boggs, 72, entered into rest August 27, 2020.

Survivors include his loving companion, Pam Burnley, Thomson; two daughters, Jennifer Mims (Lee), Thomson and Holly Lewis (Kirk), N. Augusta, S.C.; brother, Dan Boggs , California; two sisters, Karen Fenstermaker and Donna Hawkins; six grandchildren, Morgan Mims, Robin Mims, Caleb Mims, Cole Lewis, Luke Lewis and Kade Lewis.

James Love

James Andrew Love

Thomson, - James Andrew Love, 58, husband of 40 years to Bridget Love, entered into rest Friday, August 21, 2020, at University Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Love, son of the late Idether Vickery Love and Charles J. Love, was born in Macon, GA. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Thomson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronnie Love, Terry Love, George Cooper, and Billy Love; and his sisters, Shirley Ellis and Virginia Love.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Gina Love, Jackie Ingram (Dion), Kristen Love, and Brooke Love; his grandchildren, Faith Bullard, James Ingram, Emily Ingram, and Haley Compton; his brothers, Josh Love, Buddy Love, Gary Love, and Gene Love; his sisters, Darlene Watts, Pat Malpass, and Ann Hokrein; and Tiffany McNair (Sanquan), and Jennifer Tyler (Dale), whom he loved as daughters.

Thomson – Mrs. Daisy Lee West Lowe was called to her heavenly home on August 24, 2020 at the age of 89.

She leaves to cherish her memory: six children, Katherine (Jimmy Lee) Ivey, Bobby Felts, David Johnson, Glenda (Larry) Martin, all of Thomson, GA, Virgil Felts of Atlanta, GA and Jerome (De'borah) Lowe of Rex, GA; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosie West and Georgia West Roberts, both of Thomson GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harlem – Madora J Reese, 73, passed away August 27, 2020.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Quinty of Dalton, GA and Rebecca (Roy Scot) Lariscy of Harlem; two brothers, Gordon (Kay) Bradford of Aiken, Jack (Paula) Bradford of Hephzibah; sister, Lynne (J) Blanchard of Lincolnton; 7 precious grandchildren; and 2 beautiful great-grandchildren.

Dearing - Boyd Arrington Reeves, 80, entered into rest August 25, 2020.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Kay Maddox Reeves; brother, Dr. Kenneth Reeves (Brenda), Augusta; his nieces and nephews whom he cherished.

James Elton Tam, Jr.

Louisville - Mr. James Elton Tam, Jr., 74, entered into rest Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Tam was born in Augusta, Georgia but lived most of his life in Louisville.  He was the son of the late James Elton Tam and Ladessa Usry Tam.  James was retired from Georgia Power as an area manager.  He attended Old Bethel Baptist Church in Louisville.  Mr. Tam was a very loving husband and adored his loving wife, Dana.  In James spare time, you often could find him hunting arrowheads to add to his collection.  James sang in a quartet, loved hunting and was a member of Stonewall Masonic Lodge of Louisville.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Dana L. Tam; two daughters, Lisa Tam Buckner and Tracy Tam; three sons, Jon Tam, Scott Robbins, and Lance Robbins; three brothers, William “Billy” Tam, Gary Tam and Stanley Tam; two sisters, Brenda Jean Hughes and Shirley Gail Kelso; grandchildren, Kate Tam and Justin Chalker; and his best friend Denny Barrow.  He had two younger brothers,  Perry Tam and Michael Tam, both deceased.

A Celebration of life was held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 02, 2020 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Fincher officiating.

If so desired, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Survivors include her two daughters, Stephanie (Matthew) Johnson, Mitchell, and Jessica Thompson, Augusta; her long time companion, Pat Ayers; her mother, Jeannette Usry, Gibson; her sister, Debbie (Tommy) Smith, Jewell; her brother, Randy (Missie) Usry, Martinez; and her four grandchildren, Lily Johnson, Scarlett Johnson, Braelin Greenwood, and Ethan Greenwood.

Harlem - Mrs. Rita Ann Weathers, 74, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2020.
