Dearing, Ga. - Emmie Ruth Clark, 91, went home to be with the Lord on, September 24, 2019.

Funeral Services were held September 27, 2019, at Norris Chapel Church with the Reverend Jimmy Richardson officiating.

Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews.

Clifford Dellinger

Clifford Eugene Dellinger

Bishop, GA - Clifford Eugene “Gene” Dellinger, 84, husband of 61 years to Mary Nell Sexton Dellinger, died Sunday, September 29, 2019. A native and longtime resident of Bishop, Gene was the son of the late Ernest C. and Virginia Hancock Dellinger.  Gene was a retired butcher and farmer.  He served in the US Navy and was a member of Bishop Baptist Church where he had previously served as a Deacon. Gene enjoyed farming, raising cows, gardening and raising beagles for rabbit hunting.  In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters and sons in law; Debra (Mike) Hunter of Bishop, Nancy (Mike) Shelton of Dearing; three grandchildren: Christen (Chis) Willcox, Brittany (Tim) Allgood, Bailey (Cody) Rediger; great grandchildren: Savannah Kate Willcox, Hadley Allgood and Finley Allgood.  Gene’s daughters, grand and great granddaughters were always the light of his life.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA with Rev. Terry Richardson officiating.  Interment followed at Oconee Memorial Park.  

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.

Stapleton, GA - Mr. Larry Murray, age 64, passed on September 26, 2019.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Josephine Murray; two daughters, Stephanie E. Warrenton, GA - Mr. Cemonia Randall, Jr. aka “C. Jr. / Bowl”, age 67 passed September 21, 2019.

Lisa Jane Smith

Thomson, GA – Mrs. Lisa Jane Smith, 58, of Moose Club Rd., Thomson, GA entered into rest on September 27, 2019.

Lisa grew up in Lincolnton, GA and was the daughter of the late Tommy Guillebeau and the late Jane Gresham Guillebeau. She was a waitress at Shoney’s, Ryans, Gracie B’s and Belle Meade in Thomson and most recently at Golden Corral. Lisa enjoyed meeting people as a waitress and she never met a stranger. She loved her grandbabies, her children and her family. In addition to her parents Lisa was predeceased by brothers, Tom Guillebeau and Roy Guillebeau and granddaughter, Emily Smith.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Sam Smith; sons, J.T. Smith, Jason Smith (Stephanie), and Jeremy Smith; sister, Kathie Guillebeau Judy (Mike); grandchildren, Samantha Smith and Chandler Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Baston officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday night at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.

The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to the University Hospital Cardiovascular PACU for the excellent care given during Lisa’s illness.
