Angela Cheryl "Shelia" Mance
Thomson, GA - Known to many as simply as “Shelia”, Angela Cheryl Mance was born to Amanda White and Bobby Kendrick on December 2, 1964 in Augusta, GA. Her demise came on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Angela graduated from Thomson High School, Thomson, GA in 1983. She had a smile that was like a breath of fresh air, and a heart like an angel. Angela was an affectionate, warm, kind and loving person that loved the Lord. Her belief and faith in Jesus gave her the will to fight through her heartaches and turbulent pain. She called on Jesus hourly, daily, and often while she lay restless in the hospital. Angela was gifted in many ways; a fast typist was one of her many gifts. Angela could type faster than the average person, or even the most experienced person. Her creativity and neatness captivated many. Her word was her bond. With her infectious smile, she was truly a loving person by nature, and her character spoke for itself.
Angela was a God-fearing family person that loved her friends just the same as she loved her own family members. Through her walk in her blessed life, she gave birth to three children who meant the world to her and brought her the most joy. Damion, her first born was truly a mama’s boy…he loved her so, and it showed in everything he did. Brea, her second born, was honestly a sweet spirit, but she acted as if she was the oldest. Last, but not least is her third born, Mia. She was definitely the baby or the last ray of sunshine. Nonetheless, Angela was a loving mother that loved her children in return. She will be missed from our lives more than words can say. Those who preceded her in death are: a daughter, Brea Amanda Mance; her mother, Amanda White and her father, Bobby Kendrick.
Our dearly departed Angela Cheryl “Shelia” Mance leaves to treasure her memories: a loving & caring daughter and son, Mia Mance and Damion Mance; two grandchildren, Aariah Mance and Brian Hobbs, Jr.; a dear step-father, Tommy Mance; six sisters, Venus Story, Tawanna Wilson, Aljierita Kendrick Weems, Katika Smith, Pam Kendrick and Tammy Ivey; two brothers, Zay Kendrick and Willie Winfrey; five devoted cousins, Linda Hunt, Monica Murphy, Kimberly Hart, Rhonda Hamilton and Melody Crenshaw; eight honorary sisters, Passona “Sand” Smalley, Marilyn Norris, Melinda Sturgis, Detra Thomas, Pamela Huff, Carol Ross, Clara Bradshaw and Catrina Cowins; two special aunts, Hazel (George) Battle and Brenda (Victor) Bender; seven additional aunts, Lannie Kendrick, Sophia Harris, Velma (E.V.) Morgan, Doris Hamilton, Fannie Mae Mance-Sims, Annie Tutt and Diane Bussey; six additional uncles, Charlie (Gloria) Kendrick, Jimmy Johnson, Wyman Landers, Robert Bradshaw, William Mance and Willie (Ethel) Mance; a host of nieces, nephews, additional cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
