Pat Niemann

Rachel Patricia (Pat) Ward Niemann

Thomson, GA- Mrs. Pat Niemann, 75, entered into rest November 9, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Niemann was born in Macon, GA to the late Ernest Barrington Ward and Rachel Brown Ward. Her family moved to Washington, GA soon thereafter. Pat graduated from Washington Wilkes High School in 1960. She attended Georgia Southern University for 2 years, and then traveled to Ramstein AFB in West Germany to marry William (Bill) Niemann from Lincolnton, GA. Pat stood beside her husband, traveling the world, as he served his country for 21 years in the United States Air Force. Upon retirement, Pat moved to Washington, Ga in 1980. Pat worked as a para pro at WWCHS’s media center, performed administrative duties for Care South, Belk, Wills Memorial Hospital, and McDonald’s Corp. She moved to Thomson, Ga in 2009, and was an active member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, playing dominoes, flower and vegetable gardening, raising chickens and camping. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Niemann was predeceased by her brother, Ernie Ward.

Survivors include her son, Bill Niemann (Jo.) of Powder Springs, GA; daughters, Cindy Price, (Joseph) of Washington, GA and Lynn Underwood (Jay) of Evans, GA; 6 grandchildren, Levi Young, Lilly Young, Amanda Niemann, Melanie Niemann, Naomi Niemann, and Brooke Niemann; also a niece, Jessalyn Ward of Sandy Springs, GA.

Visitation was held at 10 AM, funeral service at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Shiloh United Methodist Church 5970 Cobbham Rd., Appling, GA 30802 (12 miles north of I20, exit 175) with Rev. Shirley Suarez officiating. A graveside service followed in Resthaven Cemetery, Washington Georgia.

Brenda Jean Dukes Dawson

Warrenton, GA - Brenda Jean Dukes entered into eternal rest on November 5, 2018.

Left to cherish her beautiful memories are: a daughter, Pamela (Raymond) Hunt of Thomson, GA; six grandchildren, Sherinika Few of Warrenton, Ieisha Few, Shanquaneshia Few, De’Marion Dukes, Randy Neal, all of Thomson, GA and Ty-tianna Johnson of Augusta, GA; three great-grandchildren, Amiya Few of Warrenton, GA, Ja’Koby West of Thomson, GA and Harmonii Williams of Augusta, GA; a sister, Joann Duke-Smith of Warrenton, GA; two brothers, Eddie (Edith) Dukes of Warrenton, GA and Willie Edward Jackson of Rochester, NY and a host of additional nieces, nephews, other relatives and additional friends.

The funeral service was held November 11, 2018 at Mill Rock Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Henry, Jr. Pastor, officiating.

Thomson - Mrs. Christene Dean, 86, entered into rest November 8, 2018.

Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Dean Amerson (Ken); Vickie Dean Newsome (Leon) both of Thomson, Johnnie Dean Brown (Gene) of Norwood; sons, Dennis Wesley Dean (Lisa), John William Dean and Christopher Thomas Dean (Pam) all of Thomson; 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held November 11, 2018 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Richards officiating.

Services were held November 10, 2018 at Jones Grove Baptist Church, Thomson, GA with Rev. Robert Mixon, Pastor Elder Juanita Outlaw.

Warrenton, GA – Mary Anne Quinn, 82 entered into rest November 06, 2018.

Survivors include her son, Grant Bacon Quinn of Warrenton, GA; daughter, Kim Quinn Mohr and husband, Chris of Thomson; brother, Edmund Bacon and wife, Janie of Junction City, GA; sister, Linda B. Scott of Rayle, GA and grandchildren, Garrett Mohr and wife, Audra, Harrison Mohr, Quinn Mohr, and Chapman Mohr.

A Memorial Service was held November 8, 2018 at the Fountain Campground Tabernacle, Warrenton, GA with Rev. Tommy Harwell, Rev. Donny Bazal and Rev. Brandon Furr officiating.

Harlem, GA - Jeb Stuart Schiller, Sr. entered into rest November 07, 2018.

Funeral Services were held November 10, 2018, at Bethesda Baptist Church with the Dr. Clayton Galloway officiating.

Survivors include his children, Jennifer Collins (Alfred) and Jeb Schiller, Jr. (Rebecca); one brother, Henry Schiller; four sisters, Jody Yardumian, Helen Durham, Linda Knight and Tina Chrisman.; and grandchildren, Gabriel Collins, Breanna Schiller, Jacob Schiller, Stuart Owen Schiller, Taylor Schiller and Destiny Inglett.

Sandra Rebecca “Becky” Tucker

Norwood GA. - Mrs. Becky Tucker, 74, entered into rest November 7, 2018.

Mrs. Tucker, born in Washington, Georgia, grew up in Thomson, and was a long-time resident of Norwood.  She was the daughter of the late Harold Edmunds and the late Winnifred Jennings Edmunds.  Mrs. Tucker was a 1962 graduate of Thomson High School.  She was a member of Norwood Baptist Church, a president of WMU, very active in the Warrenton Garden Club and had served on the state board of the Garden Club of Georgia.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was predeceased by her husband, Billy Aldred Tucker; and brother, Jack Edmunds.

Survivors include her sons, Randy Tucker (Lori) of Evans, GA, Rod Tucker (Anne) of Appling, GA, and Stacy Tucker (Leslie) of Norwood, GA; daughter, Meg Williams (Steven) of Avera, GA; sisters, Jane Edmunds and Kaye Howard, both of Warrenton; 7 grandchildren, Will Tucker (Dakota), Logan Tucker, Susie Williams, Lucy Williams, Tucker Williams, Caroline Tucker, and Lillie Streets; and special family friend, Beth Hinman.

Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Norwood Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Harwell, Dr. William Brown and Rev. Frank Thigpen officiating.  Interment followed in Scruggs Cemetery.

The family received friends from 4 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A service was held November 9, 2018 at New Beulah Baptist Church, Sparta, GA with Rev. Carl Lott, Pastor, officiating.

Thomson, GA- Lawrence McConnell “L.M.” Wiley, 55, entered into rest November 10, 2018.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Faglier; sons, Nick Milburn and Matt Milburn; brother, Sport Wiley (Angie) and children, Tyler Wiley, Tori Wiley, Tanna Wiley, Kevin Kitchens, Melissa Barber, and Ashley Wiley; sisters, Mary Wiley, Rhonda Usry (Brad) and children, Taylor Usry and Justin Usry, and Jennifer Jones (Brett) and children, Gracie Jones and Fisher Jones.

Thomson, GA-  Jermaine “Shank” Williams age 40, passed on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at his residence. Memorial service will be held on November 16,2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson. Family will be receiving friends at the residence of his mother, Mary Williams, 2996 Lot E Evelyn Drive, Dearing, GA.
