Thomson, GA- Ms. Evelyn Joyce Reese, 78, died November 10, 2020.

A private graveside service was held November 12, 2020, in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. Don Widener and Rev. Chad Widener officiating.

Survivors include her brother, Emory Reese, Roswell; three nieces, Dianne Parkerson, Pam Turpin, and Joanne Kitchens; several other nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Evelyn Hatcher Sanders

Harlem, GA - Mrs. Evelyn Hatcher Sanders made her peaceful transition on November 8, 2020.

Left to mourn her passing: a daughter, Connie Sanders Benton of Harlem, GA; an adopted son, Randolph Hatcher of Harlem, GA; twelve great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Morris of Douglasville, GA; four brothers, Thomas Lee of Chicago, IL, Hubert “Spat” (Mary) Calhoun of Philadelphia, PA, Franklin D. Lee of Washington D.C. and Willie Calhoun of New Jersey and a host of other family members and friends.

Memorial services were held November 14, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church, Harlem, GA with Bishop Gregory Cannon, Officiating.

Michael Dewayne Williams

Gibson, GA - Mr. Michael Dewayne “Mike” Williams, age 66, died November 13, 2020.

Services were held November 16, 2020 from the graveside in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gibson with Rev. Jacky Downs officiating.

He is survived by his mother, Venera Williams, of Gibson, daughters, Lindsey Williams of Wrens, and Melissa Williams of Wadley, sisters, Pamela Irby, of Gibson, and Angela Williams of Wrightsville, Gail Horton of Sandersville, brother, Jacky Ray Williams of Gibson, 3 grandchildren several nieces, nephews and friends.
