She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mardella Abercrombie, husband James Daniel, son Michael Daniel, sister Gerrie Abercrombie and sister Sarah Whitley. Billy Eugene Elmore

Thomson, GA - Billy Eugene Elmore, 68, of Moose Club Rd. entered into rest January 7, 2021. Billy retired from AT&T in 2012 after almost 35 years of faithful service beginning with Southern Bell in 1978. He was a dedicated youth baseball and football coach for many years. He touched the life of many young men in the Thomson-McDuffie community and tried to teach them valuable life lessons. Billy was a burly man with long hair and a mountain man beard. He told all of his youth players if they won a state championship, they could shave his beard and head. He kept his word, and the 2002 Thomson Football State Champions got this opportunity. He was a die-hard hunter. His love for the outdoors lead him to introduce many youth to those activities. He enjoyed spending time at his farm in Warren County riding on his tractor and feeding his deer. His greatest accomplishment was his grandkids, and their “Big Daddy” was their biggest fan as they participated in football, baseball, wrestling, baton, and color guard. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jane Dobson Elmore; son, Shawn Elmore (Kellie) of Sugar Valley, GA; daughter, Shannon Emfinger (David) of Pine Mountain, GA; sisters, Pam Richardson (Steve) of Marietta, GA; Deborah Childers (Craig) of Adairsville, GA; grandchildren, David Emfinger, III, Hannah Elmore, Logan Emfinger, Drew Elmore, Connor Nolan, and Grant Dailey. A Celebration of Life was held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rogers officiating. The family received friends from 4 until 6 pm, Sunday, January 10 at the funeral home. The family also received friends at the residence before and after the services. It is the family’s desire that memorial contributions be made to The Outdoor Dream Foundation, www.outdoordream.org or checks can be mailed to The Outdoor Dream Foundation, 220 Foundation Dr., Anderson, SC 29621 in memory of Billy Elmore. Kimet Nolan Woolsey

Thomson, GA - Mr. Kimet Nolan Woolsey, Sr., 59, passed away January 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Kimet was born in Ft. Hood, Texas, on November 9, 1961 to James Woolsey, Sr. and Brunhilde Otte Woolsey. He worked for Newsome’s Electric, where his job was to rewire electric motors. Mr. Woolsey was a jack of all trades, he could do just about anything, he was always reading books on how to do different things. Kimet loved fishing, cars, drawing and especially rock n roll music. Mr. Woolsey was predeceased by his mother, Brunhilde Otte Woolsey; and a sister, Denise Greene. Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Karen Woolsey; two sons, Nolan Woolsey (Katelyn), Everett Humprey; two daughters, Brooke Huff (Scott), Zoie Humprey; three brothers, Clark Woolsey (Roxie), Jim Woolsey (Susan), Kevin Woolsey; three grandchildren, Millie Woolsey, Camden Woolsey, Zaiden Smith; a mother-in-law Patricia Forbes; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial service was held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel, Thomson, GA with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. A visitation was held at Beggs Funeral Home, an hour prior to the service. Per the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
