During the evening of June 5, a man was stabbed in a Warrenton neighborhood. Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Pat Morgan reported that the Warrenton Police department requested assistance in a June 5 incident concerning a stabbing. Morgan said the incident occurred on the 100 block of Newton Street. Currently, no arrests have been made and Morgan said that GBI will not release the name of the victim at this time.
As the victim had left the scene before GBI arrived, Morgan said it appeared he had no critical injuries. The investigation continues.
