Thomson man charged in fatal accident

DeCobian Kendricks, 20, of Thomson, was arrested April 25 and charged with first-degree homicide by vehicle, failure to maintain lane, a seat belt violation, and speeding. Kendricks was reportedly responsible for a fatal crash in Thomson on April 21.

According to a preliminary incident report released by the Georgia State Patrol, a GMC Envoy driven by Kendricks was traveling south on Pinedale Drive in Thomson while a Cadillac Escalade was traveling west on Georgia Highway 223. A third vehicle, a Dodge Durango, was traveling east on Highway 223.
