The Georgia Department of Public Health today, at 7 p.m., announced that there are now 1,377 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state, with 438 patients hospitalized, and there have now been 47 deaths as a result.
No confirmed cases are reported in McDuffie, Warren, or Glascock counties. The only nearby counties with confirmed cases are Richmond (10), Columbia (10), Lincoln (1) and Wilkes (1).
To date, 4,697 individuals in Georgia have been tested by commercial labs and 1,482 by the Georgia Department of Public Health.
