A Taste of Warren County next Tuesday will provide guests with a sampling of foods from local restaurants and offer a chance for networking.
The event, now in its third year, merges A Taste of Warren County with the Warren County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting. A Taste of Warren County will be held on the lawn in front of the chamber of commerce office from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
“The annual meeting was a little lackluster, so we wanted to find a way to make it more interesting so that is why we added the Taste of Warren County to it.” said Jeffrey Fowler, president and CEO of the Warren County Chamber of Commerce.
A Taste of Warrenton is free to chamber members and open to the general public for a small ticket price. He said there are roughly six participating restaurants with the possibility some new ones may be added. Tickets are free to chamber members and available for non-members for $7.50 on the chamber’s website.
“It highlights different local restaurants and they prepare things that are really their staples. So that way people can come out, it is a networking event where you get to talk and meet people, try different foods from local places, and just have a good night,” said Fowler. “Then we do a video update near the end once it gets a little darker.”
That video presentation will provide an update on activities and accomplishments of the chamber of commerce.
