The McDuffie County Branch of the NAACP will conduct its seventh annual Freedom Fund Banquet, at 7 p.m., June 21 in the Thomson High School Cafeteria.  The theme is “NAACP: The Struggle Continues” and the keynote speaker is Bettieanne Childers Hart, chief executive officer of the law firm of Bettieanne Childers Hart, Attorney at Law, LLC where she specializes in appellate and probate law and is a partner in Advocacy for Seniors, LLC.
