Rosemary H. Register
Rosemary H. Register, 56, beloved wife of Mr. Jonathan Register, entered into rest Wednesday, December 27, 2017, in Doctors Hospital. She was the daughter of Mrs. Hildred J. Harper and the late Mr. William B. Harper Sr.
Mrs. Register was a resident of McDuffie County. She worked as a Secretary for William Sewer and Drain before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her father and sister Susan Smith. Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Register, Thomson; daughter, Kristy Rabun; son, Anthony Langham; five grandchildren, Joshua Rabun, Kelby Rabun, Kannon Langham, Kyler Langham, and Kaydance Langham; mother, Mrs. Hildred J. Harper; sister, Kathryn Wood (William), brother, Billy Harper, Jr. (Dottie); two nieces, Jennifer Smith and Jill Harper; and five nephews, Jason Smith, Clay Smith, Jim Landrum, Alan Landrum and Timmy Landrum; beloved pet Harley and grand puppy Bella.
A Memorial Service was held 2 p.m. Saturday December 30, 2017 in Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Thompson officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday night at the funeral home.

Donald Andrew Thigpen
Donald “Donny” Andrew Thigpen, 45, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at University Hospital.
A memorial service was held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Harlem, GA. with the Rev. Mike Sutphin and the Rev. Polly Davis officiating. Burial will at a later date in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Donny was a native of Augusta, GA. He worked for Columbia Co. Sherriff Dept. as an Emergency Dispatcher and the Columbia Co. Courthouse. Donny also worked for Grovetown Dept. of Public Safety. He loved fishing, hunting and tennis. His joy in life was spending time with his son.
Survivors include his son, William Andrew Thigpen; special friend, Lori Thigpen; three brothers, John A. Thigpen (Sandra), Bryan Thigpen and Larry Thigpen (Ashley); special aunt, Sherrel Wilson (Bobby) and a number of nieces and nephews. Donny was preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Patricia Thigpen.
The family received friends on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 following the memorial service at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.

Barbara Marie Clements
Barbara Marie "Bobbie" Clements, 89, wife of Mr. Julian Linton "Speedy" Clements, entered into rest on Monday, December 25, 2017, at University Hospital, Augusta, GA.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Dearing United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Hancock and Jack McCorkle officiating. Interment followed in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Clements was born in Dearing, Ga. to the late Jim and Jennie Beall. She was the office manager for Coca-Cola in Thomson, Ga. After the Thomson office closed, she transferred to the Augusta Branch where she performed many duties until her retirement. Mrs. Clements started playing the piano at the age of 14 and continued as organist and pianist for 64 years at Dearing United Methodist Church. She loved to cook and was known for making the best cakes around. She enjoyed talking on the phone to all her family and friends and as a member of Dearing United Methodist she was always involved in church activities.
Survivors include her husband, Speedy Clements; one son, Lint Clements (Kathy); one daughter, Lynn Neal (Glenn); one sister, Jennie Louise Pullen; six grandchildren, Russ Smith, Jim Smith, Brad Wiley, Stacy Neal, Emily Neal and Ivy Clements; one great-grandchild, Brinley Wiley.
Pallbearers were Russ Smith, Jim Smith, Glenn Neal, Brad Wiley, Buddy Kelley and Thomas Black.

Ruby Davis Cason
Ruby Davis Cason, 93, entered into rest December 29, 2017 at University Hospital.
Ms. Cason was a native of Warren County, GA and the daughter of the late Soloman Davis and the late Lizzie Ivey Davis. She had lived in Thomson since 1998 and was retired as a waitress from Samuel’s Country Table Restaurant. She was a Baptist by faith. Ms. Cason was also a faithful and devoted mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cason was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters; a granddaughter, Terri Dean along with her husband David, and son-in-law Edward Hyman.
Survivors include her beloved daughter, Wanda Hyman-Kitchens (Don) of Thomson, GA; granddaughter, Traci Arrington (Freddy) of Norwood, GA; great grandchildren, Cane Gilmer (Autumn), Matt Dean and Bethany Forrester (Jeremy).
Funeral services was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Furr officiating. Interment followed at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends following the service at the funeral home.
