Warren County basketball season in full swing

The Warren County High School Screaming Devils are currently on a three-game winning streak.
The Screaming Devils faced Taliaferro County on Dec. 12, defeating them by a score of 65-62. WCHS was outscored in the first quarter 16-10, but in the next three quarters WCHS outscored TCHS 15-14, 26-19 and 14-13.
Jarrius Burnett was the leading scorer with 21 points followed by Greg Burnett with 15 points.
On Dec. 15 the boys team traveled to Greensboro to face Lake Oconee Academy, defeating the LOA Titans by a score of 56-18.
The girls basketball team didnít face Taliaferro County but did travel to Greensboro on Dec. 15 to face Lake Oconee Academy, losing by a score of 51-28. The Lady Screaming Devils also faced Greene County on Dec. 16, losing by a score of 47-14.
The Lady Screaming Devils will travel to Harlem on Dec. 27 to face Harlem High School at 5 p.m. with the JV girls game beginning at 3:30 p.m.
