On Tuesday, Nov. 14, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl personnel will visit Thomson High School to recognize Christian Tutt for his selection as a member of the All-Star team.
Tutt, senior cornerback for the Bulldogs, is one of the top-ranked cornerback in the state and nation. He has offers from 35 colleges, but has yet to commit.
There will be a pep rally at the school and representatives from the U.S. Army All-American Bowl will make the presentation.
“It’s a huge award for Christian, our school and our program,” said Rob Ridings, Thomson head football coach.
“Officials will be here to present him with his jersey. It is a big honor for he and his family.”
According to the U.S. Army, the game, presented by American Family Insurance is the nation’s premier high school All-American game, featuring the best 100 players in an annual East vs. West matchup every January in San Antonio’s Alamodome.
The Army Bowl enjoys a worldwide television audience, thanks to a live broadcast on NBC. This year’s games will take place on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at 1 p.m. on NBC.
