Two men arrested in connection to Knox Street shooting

GBI and Thomson Police responded to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Knox Street early this morning.
Two male subjects have been arrested in connection to an early-morning shooting on Knox Street in Thomson.
According to a press release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Thomson Police were dispatched to a shooting on Knox Street at approximately 1:15 a.m. The GBI Region 7 Field Office was called in to assist in the investigation at approximately 2:30 a.m.
"Preliminary information indicates that a domestic disturbance took place at the Knox Street residence that resulted in the shooting incident," said Pat Morgan, special agent in charge of the GBI Region 7 Field Office. "Prior to GBI arriving on scene, two male subjects were taken into custody and charges are pending against both subjects. There were no injuries reported during the incident. The investigation is ongoing. Additional information concerning the identities of the subjects will be released later today."
