Hannah Allen signed to play softball at Wesleyan College on May 8 surrounded by her school coaches, travel ball coaches, family and THS Athletic Director Larry Dunn.
A Thomson High School softball player will continue her career in softball at Wesleyan College.
Hannah Allen, a THS senior, signed a scholarship to Wesleyan on May 8. The scholarship is a full ride based on Allen’s abilities in softball and academics.
The Wesleyan Wolves compete in the USA South Athletic Conference in the National Collegiate Athletics Assocation Division III. Wesleyan College is a liberal arts college for women located in Macon, Georgia.
Allen credits her travel ball coaches Marquis Murray, John Khan and Michael Brown with helping to prepare her for playing college softball.
"I can't thank my travel ball coaches enough for the hard work and dedication they show to our team,” Allen said. “They strive for nothing less than the best for The Yarddogs. I am also thankful for the many years of school ball that my Thomson High coaches taught me. The love and support from everyone has allowed me to end blessed with this opportunity."
