Spring practice underway for Bulldogs
By Jim Wallace

Players work on receiving during drills Monday.
Spring practice began for Thomson Bulldogs football players Monday, May 1.
An unsteady drizzle greeted the 9th grade Bulldogs as they hit the field for 10 days of practice.
On Tuesday, the varsity team members began practice and cooler than normal temperatures were welcomed by players and coaches.
The day delay came as the varsity will have its spring game on Saturday, May 13, and statutes say the spring session can only last 10 days.
The 9th grade Bulldogs will face Jefferson County at The Brickyard, Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m.
The varsity will travel to Fort Valley to face the Peach County Trojans, May 13, at 7 p.m.
