Four-vehicle accident closes Interstate 20, injures three people
By Caitlin Boland

Emergency personnel work to free the driver of one of the tractor-trailers from the cab of his tractor.
A four-vehicle accident closed I-20 eastbound near mile marker 158 for several hours.
The accident, which occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on April 24, began with a tractor-trailer carrying acetylene striking the back of a GMC SUV and pushing it into the median. According to Warren County Emergency Management Director Tommy Wolfe, the tractor-trailer was driving too fast for conditions.
After the initial impact, the first tractor-trailer then struck the back of another tractor-trailer carrying hydrofluoric acid. This impact then caused the second tractor-trailer to strike a pickup.
