Thomas Pickney Lovelace|
Thomas Pinckney Lovelace passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Lovelace of Americus, Georgia and husband of Peggy D. Lovelace for 58 years. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Thomas P. Lovelace and wife, Frances, a daughter, Ginny P. Lovelace and husband, Jon J. Taylor, and grandchildren, Thomas P. Lovelace (Melanie), Johnston G. Lovelace (Alexa), Benton P. Lovelace, Sydney Marie Lovelace and Rachel M. Taylor, and great-granddaughter, Evelyn G. Lovelace.
Tom graduated from The University of Georgia where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Social Fraternity and Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. After graduation he began his distinguished career with "Old Mr. Pete" Knox Enterprises in Thomson, Georgia. In 1963, Tom moved his family to Augusta where he continued his career as a Realtor, Broker and Appraiser. He was a man of many interests and hobbies. He especially enjoyed his coin collection and making the rounds of the coin shops enjoying the fellowship and conversations there. Tom was proud of his Southern heritage and was a member of the Sons of Confederacy, an expert on Civil War History and enjoyed the Civil War Roundtable Meetings. He was a 38 year member of West Lake Country Club. Tom was a voracious reader of History and his friends enjoyed his willingness to share his books as well as his stories with them. We must not forget his love of cards...gin rummy and liarís poker, especially.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 15, 2017, 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son, with Fr. Michael Hull officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Crisp, Charles Royal, Jim Burton, Larry Lucree, Gerald Jones, Oliver Owens, Hugh Hollar and Harry Moxley.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Cultural Center 1301 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or to St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church, 1420 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904, or to a charity of your choice.

Mrs. Linda Penson King Taylor, age 59 of 853 Old Washington Road in Thomson, GA passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM April 21,2017, and will be held at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church located at 6269 Cobbham Road Appling, Georgia 30802.
A Memorial Service Rev. with Roscoe F. Perry, Pastor, Officiating. Family will assemble at the church at 10:50 A.M.

Master Ashton Wilkes Andrews, 11, of Grant Dr., Washington entered into rest on Sunday, April 16, 2017.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery,† Washington, Ga. The family receive friends following the funeral at the graveside.
Ashton was born in Augusta, Georgia, on May 4, 2005. He lived in Washington, Georgia, and attended Briarwood Academy where he was a 6th grade honor student. He loved engineering and was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church.
His family includes his parents, Ashley and Tiffani Bryant Andrews; brother, Alex Andrews; paternal grandparents, George and Cherry Andrews; and maternal grandparents, Lanny and Cathy Bryant
