Thomson Bulldog offensive coordinator Jarrett Troxler accepted a new teaching position recently.
On April 14, Thomson Head Coach Rob Ridings announced in a press release that Troxler had accepted a position at Massillon High School in Massillon, Ohio.
Troxler came to Thomson two year ago, after being a head coach at Lakeside and Greenbrier. He helped craft THS to a 23-3 record and a state championship appearance.
“This news brings both happy and sad times for the Bulldog nation,” said Ridings in the press release.
“We most certainly appreciate the hard work and dedication from Coach Troxler. We wish the Troxlers much success in their new career opportunities.”
According to the Massillon Board of Education, Troxler was hired at the March 22 board meeting as a health and physical education teacher, similar to the position he held at THS.
