Lincolnton, GA- Mr. Kenneth W. Stevenson, 67, of Thomson Hwy. entered into rest April 9, 2017.
Mr. Stevenson was a native of McDuffie County, GA and he was the son of the late Clyde Stevenson and the late Virgie Mae Grey Stevenson. He had worked for Georgia Power and was a retired painter. Mr. Stevenson was a Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Marilyn Dye Stevenson; son, William Stevenson; daughters, Andrea Stevenson, Danielle Griffith (Chris), Christina McKellar (Jason), Mariah Moore (Greg); brothers, Jerry Stevenson and Norman Stevenson; sisters, Kathleen Brown, Janice Smith, Louise Stevenson, and Carol Ann Crawford; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 2 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, April 12th at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Glascock County, GA with Rev. Frank Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Alveda Smith Lewis
Alveda Smith Lewis, 87, of 464 Mason Drive, Harlem, Georgia, passed at the Windermere Health & Rehabilitation Center, Augusta, Georgia. Family will be receiving friends at the residence of her son, Steve (Natasha) Lewis, 4153 Foreman Way, Hephzibah, Georgia. phone# 706-833-3138. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be April 14 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thomson Funeral System and April 15 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Thomson Funeral System.
Funeral services will be held April 15 at noon at Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church located at 842 Appling Harlem Road Harlem, Georgia 30814.
The Rev. Anthony Martin Sr. will be the Pastor, and the Eulogist will be the Rev. Jerlyn Smith Hudson. Presider Funeral procession will leave 510 South Bell St., Harlem (old Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church) at 11:30 a.m.
Thomson Funeral System, Thomson, Georgia, is in charge of the arrangements.

Martha Lewis Story
Mrs. Martha Vivian Lewis Story, 85, wife of the late Richard Tommy Story, Sr., entered into rest on Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Old Union Baptist Church with the Reverend Rodney Bodiford officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Story was born in Columbia County and was a Bus Driver for the Columbia County Board of Education. She loved her family and loved to travel and shop.
Survivors include her two sons, Tommy Story, Jr. (Carol) and Donnie Story (Tamela); her daughter Faye Rogers (Bobby); one brother, Billy Lewis (Jesse); one sister, Helen Crawford; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian Canada
The family received friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on April 13 at 11:00 AM at Old Union Baptist Church located at 6095 Old Union Road Harlem, GA, 30814.
