Mitchell man arrested on several charges

A Glascock County man has been arrested for growing marijuana and for having explosives.
Eddie Alvin Stapp, 56, of Mitchell, was arrested March 30 and charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of destructive devices and possession of a hoax device.
Glascock County investigators and DNR were in the Mitchell-Warrenton Road and Friendship Church Road area around 4 p.m., March 30 responding to complaints about dogs chasing livestock.
