First State Bank opens branch in Warrenton, cuts ribbon

Warren County Chamber board members and citizens surround the First State Bank employees, Branch Manager Hope Thigpen and President Lee Clark as Thigpen cuts the ribbon.
With the closing of the bank in Warrenton, First State Bank saw a need in the community and filled it.
We heard about some news that was taking place here, and we reacted to it, said Lee Clark, First State Bank president. We think its a great decision.
The Warrenton location, located at 189 Legion Drive, is looking to fill the void created by the closing of First Citizens Bank in downtown Warrenton earlier in 2017. The Warrenton bank makes the fourth location for First State with branches in Wrens, Louisville and Americus.
