Logan Marshall named Kiwanian of the Year
By Linda Green

Logan Marshall accepts the Kiwanian of the Year award from Tommy Phelps and Kiwanis Club of Thomson President Pam Capps.
The Sheriff of McDuffie County was recently selected as top Kiwanian and was recognized for his countless efforts to protect the elderly and children and for his concern for the community.
Logan Marshall is the Kiwanian of the Year.
“I was surprised to hear my name. A member got up and started talking and I almost fell out of my chair. I had no idea this was coming,” the sheriff said. “It is good to be rewarded by my peers in the Kiwanis Club of Thomson. The club does a lot for children and that is my purpose for being a member. I had no idea about this.”
The 70-year-old Kiwanis Club of Thomson is dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. It seeks to develop, by precept and example, an aggressive and serviceable citizenship.
