Warren Co. Schools commended by SACS review team

Warren County’s school system is accredited for another five years after its most recent review.
At the end of February, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) review team came to Warren County. A team of five educators visited Warren County for four days to complete an accreditation visit, which takes place every five years.
“By the time they left, they were all thoroughly impressed with the 154 teachers, students, staff, administrators, parents and community members that they interviewed over the course of those four days,” said Carole Jean Carey, Warren County Schools superintendent.
The team reviews three focus areas for continued improvement in schools. These three areas are:
•Impact of teaching and learning, which accounts for 21 of the 41 indicators of success;
•Capacity of leadership, which accounts for 12 of 41 indicators of success; and
•Use of resources, which accounts for eight of the 41 indicators of success.
