Rider hospitalized after being tossed from bike
By Linda Green

A father and son from McDuffie County struck out on motorcycles for a short ride to church when the son gave a wheel too much brake and was thrown from his ride.
According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper Jake Thompson, Clayton Galloway Jr., 27, was traveling south on Boneville Road, on Aug. 12, when he applied too much front brake and was ejected from his 2001 Intruder at approximately 6:30 p.m. while the bike slid about 100 feet. He received numerous skin abrasions and other injuries. He was transported to Georgia Regents University Medical Center.
On the scene, at the intersection of Boneville Road and Randall Hunt Road, Clayton Galloway, Sr., of the 1000 block of Boneville Road, watched the emergency response crews work on his son. As the ambulance pulled away, he said, I praise God that it was not worse than it was. He, riding a Vulcan 900, and his son, were going to a meeting at a nearby church.
