• Bulldogs begin full contact drills at practice
By Jim Wallace

The rain did not change the intensity of the Thomson Bulldogs’ Friday morning during first day of practice in full pads
“It’s a cool morning and it’s football, so what more could you ask for,” said head coach Rob Ridings.
The team had been preparing in shirts and pads, but the real hitting began at 8:30 a.m.
On Monday, after a dry day of hitting, Ridings said the team is hard at work.
“I was pleased and we are continuing to work hard,” said Ridings. “There are still a lot of timing issues, a lot of installation of plays to do both offensively and defensively. I thought our effort was good and our tempo was pretty good.”
The coach said positions are not set and would not discuss specific players and positions.
