Cruising for the club
By Jim Wallace

Nearly 50 vehicles glimmered in the sun at Saturday’s cruise-in at the Sears on Main Street.
The event, attended by hundreds, benefitted the Thomson Bulldogs Athletic Booster Club.
There was oldies music, musical performances, food and fun for all. Members of the football team and cheerleaders were busy selling hamburger and hot dog plates.
Coaches were also present to meet and greet attendees.
“It’s great of Sears and the booster club to put this on,” said Rob Ridings, Bulldog head football coach. “We appreciate the community support and all those who entered vehicles and attended the event.”
