By Linda Green

Three people have been arrested for the June robbery of the Saicon Package Store.
The McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office said that a lone man entered the liquor store, at 1713 Harrison Road in Thomson, on June 10 and robbed the clerk at gunpoint, however an investigation revealed two others involved in the crime as well.
According to Major Ronnie Williamson, three out-of-town men were arrested July 15 for the armed robbery.
Following an intensive investigation by Investigator Al Reeves, Gregory Brandon Bloodsaw, 25, of Sandersville, was identified as the man who entered the store at 5:14 p.m., brandished a gun, demanded money from the clerk and fled the scene, Williamson said.
The major said that Reeves, with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, also identified two accomplices and all three men were apprehended on July 15.
Bloodsaw, Dennis Atkinson, Jr., 22, of Sandersville, and Braddricus DeWayne. Hood, 22, of Macon, were arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
