Diamonds Bucs drop three-in-a-row
By Brian Bowden

In a three-game stint, before-and-after the spring break holiday, the Briarwood varsity boys baseball team fell to Edmund Burke, Covenant and Thomas Jefferson.
It's been a trying season for the Diamond Bucs and the hits continued as they lost by a combined 36-4 to their past three opponents.
On April 1, Briarwood played the Spartans of EBA and fell 10-0. Sophomores Lathan Roberson and Dawson Harwell split the pitching duties for the Diamond Bucs. Roberson went 2.1 innings while giving up four hits, five runs and one walk. Harwell went two innings while giving up seven hits, five runs and two walks. Junior Jack Russell was the lone offense man as he went 1-for-2 with a single.
