By Elizabeth Vance

Lisa Kessler, of White Hills Farm in Dearing, was a finalist in the 2014 Flavor of Georgia food product contest.
Kessler entered her Lavender Calamint Rooibos Tisane tea blend in the beverage category in the March 17-18 final judging and public tasting contest.
The Flavor of Georgia contest showcases delicious, original market-ready prototypes or commercially available food products. Each is judged on flavor, Georgia theme, unique or innovative qualities, commercial appeal, potential market volume and use of locally sourced products.
