Franklin D. Allen, Jr., 55, of Grovetown, son of Sue Allen and the late Franklin D. Allen, Sr., entered into rest on Fri., Feb. 21, 2014.

Douglas Bentley, Sr., 47, of Lincolnton, entered into rest on Mon., Feb. 17, 2014.
Graveside services were held on Wed., Feb. 19, at Loco Baptist Church Cemetery.

Graveside services for Kenneth Bridges, of Batesburg-Leesville, S.C., were held on Sat., Feb. 22, 2014, at Harlem Memorial Cemetery in Harlem.

Wayne Coxwell
William Wayne Coxwell, 90, of Warrenton, husband of Lois Davis Coxwell, entered into rest on Feb. 21, 2014.
Graveside services were held on Sun., Feb. 23, at Johnson United Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation was held on Sat., Feb. 22, at Lowe Funeral Home.

Dorothy C. Farr
Dorothy Cartledge Farr, 89, of Cobbham Rd. in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Feb. 18, 2014. She was the beloved widow of the late Luther Edwin “Bud” Farr.
Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock a.m. on Fri., Feb. 21, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Collins officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Farr was born in Columbia County, Ga. and lived in McDuffie County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Stewart Cartledge and the late Annie Maude Miles Cartledge. Mrs. Farr worked at Thomson Company and later worked at Ft. Gordon where she retired from the printing department. She was also a faithful and devoted member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Donald Edwin Farr and wife Carol of Thomson; brothers, Stewart Cartledge of Appling, Aubrey Cartledge of Marietta; grandchildren, Brian Edwin Farr and wife Tara, Brandon Cartledge Farr; and great granddaughter, Emily Ryan Farr.
Memorials may be made to the Sharon Baptist Church Building Fund, 6262 Cobbham Rd., Appling, Ga. 30802.
The family received friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Dea. Joseph "Joe" Frails, Sr., 91, of Dearing, will be held on Wed., Feb. 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at 1st Mt. Moriah Baptist Church & Cemetery in Appling.

Hugh Hobbs, 75, of Dearing, husband of Janice Hobbs, died on Sat., Feb. 22, 2014.
Funeral services were held on Mon., Feb. 24, at Fort Creek Baptist Church & Cemetery.

Marion F. Hunnicutt
Marion F. “Sonny” Hunnicutt, 77, of Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Mon., Feb. 24, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 26, in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Farmer, Rev. Tim Ferrell and Robbie Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Gibson Church of God Cemetery.
Mr. Hunnicutt was born in Gibson, Ga. and was the son of the late Rozier Hunnicutt and the late Malar Johnson Hunnicutt. He was retired as a exterminator. Mr. Hunnicutt was a member of the Thomson Church of God.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Shirley Hunnicutt; daughters, Rhonda Branon (Freddie) and Judy Hanks, both of Martinez, June D. Beggs (Ray); sons, Robbie Dixon and Sean Dixon, both of Thomson; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Branon, B.C. Wells III, Jeffrey Branon, Bruce Dixon, Ben Dixon, Aaron Dixon, Ashlee Godbee Rowlen, Blake Godbee, Cail Dixon and Abbie Dixon; and six great grandchildren, Owen Wells, Cadence Wells, Elliott Wells, Brentley Branon, Allee Washington and Rustin Washington.
Memorials may be made to the Thomson Church of God.
