The Thomson Bulldogs basketball team is preparing for the state playoffs after a couple of challenging weeks on the hardwood.
“The last couple weeks, we’ve played more games than the normal two a week,” said THS Head Coach Michael Thomas. “I think that got us a little leg weary. We will have a chance to get our legs back under us and get ready.”
Thomson will face Swainsboro at 5:30 p.m., Friday in the Region 3-AAA tournament at Jefferson County. The tourney will continue on Saturday.
Last week, the Bulldogs, 17-3, 6-2, ended the regular season with two wins and a loss.
