With the instrumental tune “I’ll Be There” playing around them, 31 students walked the red carpet in recognition of their unique talents.
Thomson Elementary School’s Red Carpet Extravaganza was held Feb. 7 and the students, some dressed in formal wear, some in church wear and others in day wear, glided down the hallway as their stories were told over the school’s public address system.
The students came in their best outward attire to match their insides.
Escorted by the members of NJROTC of Thomson High School, the princes and princesses were recognized for demonstrating progress in academic, behavior and other attributes. Students were recognized for having good manners and attributes that are currently overlooked by society, According to TES Principal Anita Cummings.
