The Lady Dogs dropped two region games last week.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, McDuffie County schools returned from being out due to snow, and the Lady Bulldogs took a trip to Eastman where the team lost 62-38 at Dodge County.
“We played a great first half and we were down 31-24 as we were able to slow them down and keep our intensity,” said THS Head Coach Michael Williams.
In the third period, Dodge County outscored the Lady Dogs 18-4 and the home team was able to secure the win.
“In the second half, their post player took over and disrupted our shots and she was able to score in spurts to keep us down,” Williams said.
Alesheia Johnson led THS with eight points and RaKylah Walker was next with seven.
