Head Coach Bo Fleming and his Briarwood varsity boys basketball team joined the Lady Bucs in Philips Arena Friday afternoon, but their outcome was far different than their girls counterpart. The Runnin' Bucs (3-15) lost to the Rams of Covenant, 53-38. The loss kept them winless in region play so far this season, but they still have a small glimmer of hope with five region games left on the schedule.
Briarwood's leading scorers, Friday night, were Jackson Sims and Davis Newton with 11 points apiece, Dakota Reese with 7 and Bryce Sowell with 5. They were outscored 12-9, 13-7 and 14-6 in the first three quarters, but made a small surge and won the fourth 16-14.
