The Thomson Lady Bulldogs found themselves on the losing end of three games last week.
On Tuesday, Thomson lost 41-34 to region opponent Jefferson County. The Lady Dogs also lost 56-22 to Dodge County in a region game at THS. On Saturday, Hancock Central visited Thomson and Hancock came away with a 35-30 win.
Michael Williams, Thomson head coach, said the team has been fighting through injuries, keeping the team out of synch.
Jefferson County led most of the way, but Williams said the Lady Dogs made a comeback in the last quarter, holding the Lady Warriors to five points.
“We cut their lead to three points with 1:38 remaining, but we missed some lay-ups and free throws that could have made the comeback complete,” said Williams.
