A Thomson man broke into a local automotive repair center Friday, stole a car and drove to a relative's home in Warren County.
According to Thomson Police Investigator Don Hilson, Cecil A. Finch, Jr, 19, of the 1000 block of Warrenton Highway in Thomson, burglarized Jimmy & Dena's Body Shop on East Hill Street between midnight and 3 a.m. Jan. 25.
The officer said Finch, entered the business through the back bay, got the keys to a car that was left for repairs, and drove the cars through the roll-up door and exited the property by breaking though the chain link fence at Black Street.
