• Gena Cody crowned Miss THS 2014

Twelve girls vied for the title of Miss THS 2014 Saturday night at Thomson High School.
Gena Cody, a sophomore, was crowned with the title and will represent the school across the county while receiving paid entry into the Miss Georgia High School Pageant next January.
The pageant featured CeCe Arnette, Bethany-Grace Bowers, Cody, Sasha Donaldson, Adrienne Gaines, Rebecca-Lynn Gill, Sarah Holimon, Aaliyah Ivery, Heather Krome, Brook Stewart, Glorius Tutt and Kerry Vo.
The daughter of Brian and Lisa Cody, Cody is captain of the majorette line of the THS Bulldog Brigade and plays on the soccer team along with church activities.
Vo was chosen first runner-up and Miss Photogenic. Krome was named second runner-up. Stewart was voted by the audience as People’s Choice. Contestants voted Bowers Miss Congeniality.
