• Women’s health nurse practitioner hired, now serving tri-county area
By Brian Bowden

Tri-County Health System, Inc. has provided a multitude of programs and services for the citizens of Warren, Glascock, Taliaferro and Hancock counties throughout the years, but they have never had a women's health specialist.
With the addition of nurse practitioner Jennifer Sapp, 37, now they can say they do.
"I love it here. I love the people here. I love the patients here. Everybody seems receptive to having a women's health provider," said Sapp. "I think it is a great asset to this clinic. The community is slowly trickling in, so I'm hoping to see lots more visits and people."
Sapp got her nursing degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and then spent six years as a labor and delivery RN. She then went back to school for her master's degree at the University of Colorado in Denver where she majored in women's health. Sapp has been working in women's health for almost three years and looks to improve TCHS with her focused expertise.
