Torrez Wentz, a senior defensive lineman football player for the Warren County High School Screaming Devils, signed his official letter-of-intent to play football for the Old Dominion University Monarchs on Jan 9 at WCHS.
“It’s a good day for Torrez and his family,” said Head Coach Cherad Freeman. “He’s worked hard and it really shows you guys what hard work, especially in the classroom, can do for your future.”
The six-foot-two-inch, 280 pound lineman earned all-state honors as a junior, preseason all-state honors and all-region accolades his senior season and played in the Georgia vs. South Carolina All-Star Game for high school football.
