• Dogs notch two wins, stay perfect at 9-0

The Thomson Bulldogs came away with two wins Friday and Saturday nights.
On Friday, behind 25 points from Malique Gibbons, the Bulldogs defeated Jefferson County 79-52 at home in THS’ first region game.
“We wanted to set the pace early,” said Michael Thomas, Bulldog head coach. “This was only our second game at home,”
The Bulldogs took a 6-point lead into the fourth , but outscored the visitors 28-7 in the final period.
“We wanted to make a good region start and this was only our second home game, so we wanted to have a good effort,” said Thomas.
Frank Brinson and Stevon Hart each had 12 points in a game where the Dogs shot 70 percent from the free throw line.
