The Thomson Police Department received an early Christmas present Tuesday night when two officers captured a man inside a parked car at a repair shop.
The police had increased their patrols around C & C Tire in response to a series of vehicles being broken into at the business at 350 National Avenue.
“Patrol officers had been informed about vehicle break-ins and they started doing extra patrolling in the area,” said Capt. Jamie Bridges.
