• Police seek suspect in Pace Street shooting
By Linda Green

A gathering in a Thomson neighborhood turned violent Friday night and a man was left with bullet wounds when the crowd dispersed.
Kelsey Neal, 26, of the 300 block of Manassas Drive and several area people were at a home in the 600 block of Pace Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. when he got into a verbal dispute and physical altercation with a woman.
According to Thomson Police Department Investigator Jamie Bridges, Neal fought with Denise Cody, 38, of the 300 block of Anderson Avenue.
The police captain said that after the altercation, Cody left the scene but soon returned to the Pace Street home with her two sons—Jerry Cody, 20, and Antonio Davis, 19--and other individuals.
