Most people spend the holidays with family, maybe nestled around the fire sipping hot chocolate and eating delicious treats. Anything to stay warm and enjoy the comfort of others.
However, not everyone has that pleasure, but thanks to local community schools the patients at Regency Hospice might enjoy the holiday season a little bit more.
Students and faculty from Dearing Elementary, Briarwood Academy and Augusta Tech collected various essential items, as well as homemade greeting cards, and distributed them to hospice patients in Augusta.
