A Thomson woman was airlifted to Georgia Regents Medical Center following a Friday night accident in west Thomson.
Georgia State Patrol Trooper Steve Shelton said Debbie M. Armstead, 49, of Twin Oaks Road, stepped from the south curb of East Hill Street and into the path of a Chevrolet Cavalier.
The Cavalier, operated by 32-year-old Kelsey O. Dantignac, of Whitehead Street, struck Armstead in the outside westbound lane in front of Neal’s Bar-B-Que.
