• Post Office and store burglarized in Camak

Rewards have been issued for the arrest of individuals responsible for burglarizing the Camak Post Office and the Camak Grocery and Deli late Monday.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has issued an award of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who burglarized the Camak Post Office between closing Monday evening and opening Tuesday morning.
The grocery store was burglarized between 10:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Monday after the store had closed. The owner has posted a $1,000 reward for the arrest of the two people of unknown genders shown on store surveillance.
According to Purvis, the grocery store’s security cameras show two people entering the store and deli after breaking the glass between 10:30 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Monday night. The suspects took cash, clothes, and packages to be mailed as Christmas gifts as well as other items.
