Lady Bucs cruise to victory on the road
By Brian Bowden

The Briarwood varsity girls basketball team secured another win on the road against the Lady Crusaders of Trinity Christian Saturday night in Dublin, 65-44.
"I thought we played our best game of the year considering our competition," said Head Coach Keith Johnson. "They are one of the better teams in AA, no doubt."
The Lady Bucs (4-1) had three major offensive contributers in Malia Kency, Tiffany Pate and Kacie Kersey. Kency, putting on her usual show, racked up 28 points which included 15 from behind the arc while Pate dominated down low and put up 19 points and went 3-for-3 from the line.
"Our effort is really, really good," said Johnson. "I was pleased with the outcome. They (Trinity Christian) haven't been beat like that all year."
