• Runnin’ Bucs woes continue against Trinity
By Brian Bowden

The Briarwood varsity boys basketball team lost to Trinity Christian Saturday night in Dublin, 30-62.
"Trinity is very good. I would put them right up there with Curtis Baptist," said Head Coach Bo Fleming. "Physically, they are big and it's just not a good matchup for us."
The Runnin' Bucs (1-3) got off to an extremely slow start in the first quarter, only scoring three total points, thanks to the press of Trinity Christian. "Their pressure killed us the first quarter," said Fleming. "I did not expect them to be as good as they were."
However, Briarwood recovered in the second quarter and outscored them 11-10 going into the half. "We made some adjustments to the press," said Fleming. "We played hard and didn't quit." They went into halftime trailing by 15, their smallest deficit of the night.
